I sent this to a friend of mine today…
I put the blackberry in “no telephone” mode so I could catch up on Friday’s work emails, also thought it might be fun to keep you updated on my lovely flight.
0945 EST - There is a midget on my flight, in my row. That’s not something you see every day.
1101 EST - This man sitting next to me won’t shut up I want to smack him!
1132 EST - lunch is served. We had a choice between a chicken ceasar sandwich and a fruit & cheese plate. I chose the latter for 5 dollars. The man next to me bitched about the $5 to which I rolled my eyes and told him I wasn’t us airways customer relations.
1301 EST/1001 PST - switching my watch to PST
1010 PST - this man sitting next to me waited until I came back from the bathroom, sat down, got situated and started to fall asleep and only then decides he needs to go to the loo too! I pretended I was fast asleep and ignored him for a bit forcing him to be further discourteous and wake me. I said “oh you have to go now? Not 7 minutes ago when I was also up going??” Ass.
1107 PST - now he wants to know where I work. I told him I work for the government and my job is classified and that’s all I prefer to say.
1132 PST - that classified business seems to have shut him up ha ha why didn’t he ask me what I do earlier??
1145 PST - He’s asleep and snoring! Grrrrrrrrr.
1230 PST - landed!
