<p>I spent much of the spring very involved in the <a href="http://www.hillaryclinton.com" target="_blank">Hillary Clinton</a> campaign in Pennsylvania.  Now that she has suspended her campaign I am supporting <a href="http://www.barackobama.com" target="_blank">Barack Obama.</a></p>
<p>I have participated in a couple voter registration drives for Obama and look forward to more.  For the most part, the Obama crowd has been welcoming.  To my fellow Hillary supporters considering not voting or voting for <a href="http://www.openleft.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=6044" target="_blank">John McCain</a>, here are some good reasons not to:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://news.aol.com/elections-blog/2007/01/24/john-mccain-votes-to-filibuster-minimum-wage-hike/" target="_blank">John McCain</a> voted to filibuster minimum wage incresases.</li>
<li>Corporate special interests helped form <a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24844889">John McCain</a>&#8217;s economic policies.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.motherjones.com/mojoblog/archives/2008/01/6735_mccain_in_nh_wo.html" target="_blank">McCain</a> says it would be &#8220;fine&#8221; to keep troops in Iraq for &#8220;a hundred years&#8221;.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/10/03/mccain.interview/" target="_blank">McCain</a> supported Bush&#8217;s Veto of a childrens health insurance bill.</li>
<li>George Bush and <a href="http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/05/22/gi_bill/index.html" target="_blank">John McCain </a>opposed the expanded GI Bill.  (it passed anyway</li>
<li>Many women voters think <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-02-19-mccain-roe_x.htm" target="_blank">McCain</a> is pro-choice, they should do some research.</li>
<li><a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/01/12/ap/politics/mainD8MJRGCO0.shtml" target="_blank">McCain</a> defends Bush&#8217;s Iraq strategy.</li>
</ul>
<p><a href="http://articles.latimes.com/2008/mar/01/nation/na-mccain1" target="_blank">John McCain</a> = more of the same.</p>
