Attention MSN Live Messenger Users!
Admittedly I’m not such a big fan of Microsoft, but I use MSN Messenger for work so…
Every time you start a conversation using i’m, Microsoft shares a portion of the program’s advertising revenue with some of the world’s most effective organizations dedicated to social causes.
I chose the National AIDS Fund, but you can choose the one that best addresses the issues you feel most passionate about.
The available groups (as of this writing) are:
- American Red Cross
- Boys & Girls Clubs of America
- National AIDS Fund
- National MS Society
- ninemillion.org
- Sierra Club
- StopGlobalWarming.org
- Susan G. Komen for the Cure
- U.S. Fund for UNICEF

Do you have to actually talk to someone or can you just set up two fake identities and open a “chat” between them? Does it monitor activity or just that an ad is shown?
