I bought the sound track to Wicked today.

I think this will be the next show I see.

My friend Fleur and I went to see Rent today.

I had seen it before, but well worth the discounted tickets to see it again! (and I got better seats for less $!!)

Drew Lachey and Frenchie Davis were awesome. Go Frenchie for getting booted off Idol - who cares about a little porn anyway. Your voice is better served on Broadway.

So I went to Manhattan today with a friend of mine. We decided to go over to Central Park to see what all the excitement was about The Gates (full title above) art exhibit.

Some wandered around in amazement, some in confusion. I was among the confused. So was my friend. This is art?? I think the exhibit should be renamed Colossal waste of twenty million dollars.

Later, another friend referred to it best… All that saffron orange makes Central Park look like a big construction zone.

I guess we’ll just file this one under Hmm, Things that make you go.

Wednesday was Groundhog Day and the State of the Union Address. As Air America Radio pointed out, it is an ironic juxtaposition: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication and the other involves a groundhog.
