I have placed Tsunami relief button here as well as on bottom-right of my blog. This links to a Google maintained page which lists various organizations involved in Tsunami relief efforts.
I have personally contributed to Oxfam America. Please consider giving to this or another charity of your choice.

Operation see my friend on his way home from Iraq
I have not been updating this lately, but today was definitely blog-able…
I saw one of my good friends today. He has been in Iraq working for the DoD and was going home today, transferring planes in JFK.
I was fretting all week about how I was only going to get to see him for a few minutes between International Arrivals and Domestic Departures security gate. So what is my solution to this dilemma? Read on… I actually bought a (fully refundable) plane ticket so I could get through security and wait with him for his next flight. We got to spend about 2 hours catching up - it was good. I got the refund processed for that flight I didn’t take to Atlanta, too - Thanks Delta! *wink*.
